Thank you to everyone who attended our U.S. Small Business Administration Fundamentals Workshop, which kicked off this year's Wisconsin Lenders Conference in the Wisconsin Dells. WBD Inc.'s Jason Monnett and Becky Schneider presented to a packed house yesterday - a great turnout! Helping small businesses and lending institutions utilize SBA lending programs
About us
WBD Inc. is a business finance resource that provides the knowledge, services, and access to capital needed to create jobs, grow businesses, and build communities. The cornerstone of WBD's success is delivery of the SBA 504 loan. Offered nationwide exclusively by not-for-profit Certified Development Companies (CDCs), the SBA 504 enables small businesses to grow and create jobs by providing lower down payments (as low as 10%) long-term (up to 25 years!), fixed-rate (currently around 5%) financing for owner occupied commercial real estate and business equipment. Since 1981, WBD has helped fund thousands of businesses and created over 65,000 jobs in Wisconsin and in Minnesota. WBD consistently ranks in the top ten among the nearly 250 CDCs in the country. We can partner with any bank or credit union and have experience with hundreds of lenders in Wisconsin, the Twin Cities area, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Make sure you know your options and ask your banker about using the 504 loan for your next project. A mission-based, non-profit organization, WBD reinvests "profits" into other economic development efforts. For more information visit www.wbd.org.

WBD Inc. staff had a great time volunteering at Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. We scooped and bundled hundreds of pounds of cereal, including the "Lucky" one that has hearts, stars, horseshoes and four leaf clovers! Thank you so much to Second Harvest for giving us the opportunity to come and help out for a few hours. And most importantly for all of the tremendous work they do to feed those in need throughout southern Wisconsin. https://lnkd.in/gZRVYtNq

WBD Inc.'s Drone Patrol recently visited Veloci Performance Products, Inc. in Burnsville, Minnesota. Aaron Lindholm and Alex Lindholm have been steadily growing their business, aided in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan, and have strategies in place for further expansion. Their adoption of cutting-edge technology ensures top-notch equipment and accessories, positioning Veloci as a premier brand in the pressure washing industry. We extend our gratitude to Veloci and the Lindholms for welcoming us during our visit and wish them ongoing prosperity! https://lnkd.in/gZpZreUg

WBD Inc. congratulates Fortune Favors founders and operators Sam McDaniel, Eric Rupert and Jess Benish for being named Small Business Persons of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration! Fortune Favors Nuts has gained a local cult following with its unique candied pecans. A pandemic-induced shift to online and wholesale sales, aided by SBA loans, has propelled their business to million-dollar success. Now, they're expanding nationally in stores like Whole Foods Market and Raley's. We're proud to be working with Fortune Favors and appreciate their trust in SBA lending. Congratulations once more! https://lnkd.in/gxEZcccQ

This week, WBD Inc. staff united for a volunteering session at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, located at the Milwaukee campus. Feeding America stands as the largest food bank in the state, extending its services across 35 counties in eastern Wisconsin. It was truly fulfilling to lend a hand, collectively packing thousands of pounds of food. Our heartfelt thanks go to Feeding America for granting us this volunteering opportunity, and, above all, for their tireless efforts in fighting hunger throughout Wisconsin. https://lnkd.in/eBXNbnR
